Vanessa's Baby update:

The delivery apperenty went well. She gave birth on Friday, July 29th, 2005 at 12:37 (I know... I know)...

Evan Roger Cayen-Rock was 7 lbs 13 ounces. (according to Jonathan, the name of the baby is not yet confirmed to be that but it's most likely, apperently)

We are responding to your request for information regarding LapBand surgery.  You sent a request for information to The Plastic Surgery Clinic website.  This is a safe and very effective form of weight loss surgery where a band is placed around the upper stomach to restrict food intake.  This procedure is done laparoscopically (“key-hole surgery”) and you can usually go home the same day.  The majority of procedures can be done at The Plastic Surgery Clinic in Mississauga, but some require surgery at the Trillium Health Centre.  Recovery is usually 7 – 10 days.  

Most of the information about the LapBand procedure is available on our web site at http://www.obesitysurgery.ca.

The fee for this surgery is $15,000.00.  This includes the prosthesis (Lap-Band) and  the surgical, anaesthetic and facility fees.  All post-op care is also included as well as surgeon consultation, post-op visits, adjustments, and telephone support for one year.  After one year an adjustment appointment will be $75.00 per visit.  We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.  There is a $200.00 consultation fee for the first visit only that is applicable to the cost of surgery should you decide to proceed.  Financing information is available from independent financing companies if you are interested.  It works out to approximately $500 per month for 3 years.

I don't know much right now, but they had to induce labor today as it's been 41 weeks, according to Jonathan.

He didn't get bad news, so he assumes everything is fine...

Now I find out that Eric got hit by a car!

He needed to get surgery on his knee, and is going to be on crutches for 8 weeks.


It happened on Saturday night, after he left work. Might have been a drunk driver. It was a hit and run....

Maybe I should call in sick...

Hmmm. I haven't called in sick since mid-April.

Man, this sucks.

I don't want to have to go to work. I am exhausted, I am still jetlagged.

Yesterday I spent the day with my dad. I tried to bitch at him for not doing the whole army thing before I visited Lebanon, but he wouldn't have me blaming him. Asshole.

Me and Joyce had that long awaited talk the other day. I told her that no matter what happened between us, we couldn't get married or have kids. She wants to stay together. I can honestly say I didn't see that coming.

She must really love me... I hope she doesn't think that she can change me.
